Over 1,025 lives just got better thanks to Buddha Brands

As members of 1% for the Planet, a portion of every Buddha Brands sale goes towards charitable causes that aim to build lasting environmental or humanitarian solutions.

To date, we’ve donated significant dollars to various charities, and we’d like to take a moment to highlight one of the specific, tangible projects our community of coconut-lovers has helped realize, simply by purchasing our products. Charity Water

As the makers of Thirsty Buddha, hydration and good health are everything to us.

We know that access to clean, drinkable water is critical to survival. It is especially true for those who can’t easily walk into a store and buy a can of coconut water.

Nearly 1 in 10 people in the world living without access to clean water. Charity Water dedicates its efforts into building sustainable, community-owned water projects globally.

We love being able to share the specific projects that Buddha Brands donations have built

Charity Water uses all donated funds to provide clean drinking water for people in need.

This requires so much hard work, from the first mound of dirt shoveled at the project site all the way to the official project completion, where we can see how the Buddha Brands donations have transformed lives.

Why? Because water changes everything.

A clean water source reduces the chance of waterborne diseases and strengthens the health and resilience of a community.

It restores time to people who used to walk hours to collect water from ponds or rivers.

Women can use this time to work or take care of their families, and kids can return to school. Families can lead healthier, happier lives.
