I'm inspired to live healthy because...I know how wonderful and full of energy I feel when I do live healthy and also because I strive to live a long, abundant, and fulfilled life that can only come with a healthy and active lifestyle!
My happy place is...on my yoga mat! Many places make me deeply happy, however; when I step on my mat and out of my head a sense of true calm and joy fill me every time.
I find balance in...leading a healthy and active lifestyle, spending as much time in the great outdoors as possible, and creating quality time with friends and family. However, I also know that it is important to allow yourself to indulge from time to time. I like to take approach life at 80% of the time being healthy & 20% of the time having a little indulgence to keep myself well balanced and happy!
I'm coconuts for...well all things coconut! Coconut is such an amazing, nourishing, delicious, and versatile food we have been blessed with. I'm super passionate about eating and creating tasty meals and I find coconut in some form makes it's way into almost all of my creations.
I'm thankful for...finding my path of teaching yoga and sharing my heart through it. Teaching is a huge responsibility but it is also such an honour to pass on this amazingly beneficial practice to so many people. Yoga changed my life in the best way possible and I am forever filled with gratitude for the changes I've experienced and hope that through my teaching, others can experience it's transformative powers as well!
My favorite workout jam is...currently Harvest Moon by Poolside but there are really too many amazing songs to choose just one.
I spend most of my free time...getting outside and exploring with my amazing fiancé, practicing yoga, as well as cooking and baking.

My happy place is...Teaching one of my signature classes with all the MPC fitfam and Alpha Army in it. For that hour there’s nothing else in the world but the inspiring warriors in the class, me, some loud music, and a whole lot of energy.
I find balance in...As long as I see and talk to my family every now and then and have some solid friends I don’t need balance. Just don’t stop.

We're inspired to live health because...of our little family. With Mark’s one and four-year-old boys we want to be able to show them the best way to stay active, and what makes up proper nutritious meals. The best way to continue that trend is to stay active ourselves!
Our happy place is...Christy’s happy place is in the middle of the trail on a Spartan course when she is shaded by the trees with the sun is high in the sky, it’s her serenity. Whereas Mark’s happy place is whenever he is climbing something!
We find balance in...When we aren’t running around like crazy between work, the gym, and having family days we find balance in our life by having no-tech date nights. We will relax at our dining room table, listen to music and play board games. The competition is just as fierce at home as it is setting PRs at the gym!
We're coconuts for...Christy is coconuts for that bell on rope climbs and hoisting propane raises on Spartan courses, Mark goes coconuts for the sand bag carries, and we both love the Thirsty Buddha we get to enjoy after!

We are grateful for the amazing fitness community that we have become a part of through Spartan and Buddha Brands Co, and cannot wait to meet more people on the course this year!

We spend most of my free time...tracking down new OCR races and fun family adventures. If we aren’t on the course we are with the boys the beach, a local critter zoo, a museum, or skating! The best way to stay fit and motivated is to incorporate it into our everyday lives.
First meeting Mark 2 years ago at our very first Spartan Race, we knew we found a life-long friend. He and his better half Christy Price are an amazing obstacle course racing duo, bringing truth to the saying ‘those who train together stay together’. Together they are conquering the obstacle course world one race at a time.
